In April, Canva arranged the conference ”Canvas Create 2025“ In Los Angeles. There they launched a number of new tools that enable you to work faster and smarter in Canvas.
Three of the biggest news was the update Visual Suite 2.0 – One Design, and the introduction of the new tools Canvas Sheets and Canvas Code. Here's a review of what they can be used for, and why they're worth noting.
Visual Suite 2.0 – One Design
One of the most exciting and practical news from Canvas Create 2025 is the launch of Visual Suite 2.0 with the concept One Design, a feature that allows you to gather different content types in one and the same design file.
In the past, separate files had to be created for each item: one for presentation, one for document and separate files for different image and video formats.
But with Visual Suite 2.0, this is the story.
Now you can collect everything in one project, and thus work faster, smarter and more transparent.

- Magic Charts: Transform your results/numbers into visual and interactive charts using a simple click. With Magic Charts you can also create charts of data from external sources that Google Analytics or HubSpot, and the diagrams are automatically updated when the data changes.
With these smart functions, Canvas Sheets makes it easier than ever to understand, communicate and present data in a visually appealing way.
Canvas Code - Build apps without encoding
Finally, Canva presented the most surprising and exciting grant: Canvas Code - an AI tool that allows you to create interactive solutions like small apps, games or web pages, without writing a single line with code itself.
All you have to do is describe what you want, then Canva generates both the code and the design for you. You can edit, test and publish the results directly from Canvas.
This opens the door to new opportunities, especially for companies that want to create interactive elements, but do not have developer competence internally.
